TRE

Tension and Trauma Release Exercises

TRE is a fast, highly effective method of trauma and long-term

stress recovery. It is a body based modality that initiates a deep

muscle release through the nervous system in a safe and simple

way

The uniqueness of this process is in the re-activation of our body’s

natural mechanism to letting go of stress and tension.

Who can benefit from TRE?

This natural process of myofascial release makes TRE available

and beneficial for everyone, whether you are suffering from mild

stress or deep seated trauma.

TRE increases the resilience of the body through deep relaxation,

naturally reducing stress and anxiety levels. It can release on

both a physical and emotional level caused by work stress,

excessive worry, conflict in relationships, physical stresses or

traumas from accidents, injuries and operations.

Additionally, TRE has been reported to reduce pain, increase

mobility and aid in the healing ofpast injuries.

There is now evidence that even excessive stress, let alone

severe trauma, is a factor in a variety of illnesses.

These include anxiety disorders, depression, high blood

pressure, cardiovascular disease, gastro-intestinal troubles,

some cancers and premature aging.

Stress also seems to increase the frequency and severity of

migraines, episodes of asthma and fluctuation of blood sugar

levels in diabetics.

If you have experienced any form of violence and are suffering

from PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) or you are

someone who wants to become more resilient and just feel

better about life, you can benefit from TRE.

When you experience the neuro-muscular tremoring it means

that the emotions and tension that have been stored (sometimes for

years) in the fascia and muscles is now being released.

TRE is being used by thousands of people around the world as a

highly effective tool for releasing chronic stress, physical tension

and emotional pain. It is a self-empowering method of releasing

the everyday stress, tension and anxiety that comes from the daily

pressures of life.

Once learned, this process can be done on your own with

occasional assistance from a certified practitioner.

HYPNOSIS THERAPY - HYNOTHERAPY

Hypnosis treatments are a way to encourage the client to relax

totally and get into a Theta state of brain waves.

At all times the client is able to answer questions, and speak to

the therapist.

In no way can therapeutic hypnosis treatments be compared to

“stage hypnosis” where people are put into a trance and

encouraged to do silly things.

During therapy, at the stage of deep relaxation, positive

affirmations are repeatedly spoken to the client, which help them

to achieve some important goal in their lives.

Some goals are to stop smoking, to stop nail biting, to stop drinking

alcohol, to stop eating addictive foods (like chocolate or bread).

Positive affirmations are then used to encourage the client to feel

good about themselves and increase their determination and to

be aware of their progress towards achieving their goal.

Three or more treatments are needed in order to be sure that

the positive affirmations are still in place and the client is

experiencing some results.

To break any sort of habit normally takes at least 21 days, so

there is a close relationship with the therapist at times when

the client might give up, as in cigarette smoking.

Addictions are hard to beat – but it is possible with determination

and some outside help.

What is TRE

good for?

When tension is released

anywhere in the body, the

brain registers a reduction

in pain signals, producing

new hormones that promote

healing.

An enhancing attribute of

the TRE process is that the

negative effects of trauma

are released without having to

actually relive, remember or

talk about the event.

What is Hypnosis

Good For?

  • Hypnosis can help to :
    • stop smoking
    • stop nail biting
    • stop eating addictive
      food
    • stop drinking alcohol.
  • Hypnosis can only work if
the client is ready to move
on with their lives, and is
    willing to make this change
    to their habits.
  • The client and the therapist
    must work together to
    achieve results.
In this way, the client is
    more determined to
    succeed in achieving
    their goals.
